The Rector of St. Alban's

The Rev. Margaret Brack joined St. Alban's as rector in November 2022.

Margaret brings a wealth of faith and experience. She grew up Roman Catholic and began studying music at age 5 and continued on to earn advanced degrees.  She has served in church ministry for forty years in Roman Catholic and Lutheran churches. In 2009, she converted to the Episcopal Church, the faith of her husband, Jim, and later attended Nashotah House Seminary and became an ordained Episcopal priest.  She has a particular passion for collaborative worship, Creation Care, outreach and labyrinths.

Margaret and Jim have been married for 34 years and have four children and one grandchild.

The church gives you something that fills up a hole or a vacancy that's in you.
